Cindy… Thank you for your Christmas and New Year’s good wishes, and we want to return our best wishes to you and your family. Our sweet Madigan “Maddie” will be 4 years old in February and has been a precious member of our family since May 2008. She is happy and friendly and loving and brings happiness to our lives every day - the perfect “child” to Tommy and me. Our two daughters call her Baby Sister and our 30 year old granddaughter calls her “Aunt Maddie” and they love her dearly.

She is healthy and strong and she weighs about 14 pounds full grown. She was mostly white with some dark brown markings when she was younger but over the years the dark brown spots have mostly disappeared or faded. Her hair is silky and white with a little tan on her ears and face and a spot on her back. And then of course, there are those beautiful big dark eyes, little black nose, and floppy ears. We think she is just perfect. I am enclosing a few photos of her as a baby and more recently…

Two years ago we took an extended trip in a 40 foot motorhome and took Maddie with us. We visited Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, the National Parks in Utah, Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, etc. She went with us wherever we went and made many friends – I can’t tell you how many people wanted a dog just like her. We gave them all your information – hopefully some of them found their perfect family member with you as we did.

Subject: Ava Grace update

Hi Cindy,

Just wanted to send some updated pictures of Ava in her 'Potty Paradise'.(My camera actually caught her jumping in mid-air, with her ears flapping out to the sides!) Although this is her area for 'getting down to business', she just loves lounging here under her bright green umbrella and occasionally smelling those hydrangea. She still has more energy than I could ever imagine and she keeps us laughing on a daily basis. I bought an assortment of tiny colored hair clips at the dollar store to hold her bangs out of her eyes...she looks so cute WHEN she keeps it in! She absolutely LOVES people and her little white paws start 'waving' frantically every time a new person comes near......she's just precious!!

Thank YOU for sharing your babies. They are the funniest little guys. Believe or not, they swim in the pool. I'm amazed. Marcus (Niko) especially... he thinks he's a water dog. We are constantly trying to teach them where the steps are because I'm paranoid that one of us is going to leave the pool gate open while they are outside. Nigel won't jump in unless one of us are in the pool but Niko won't stop jumping in...

Subject: Rexx Update (Born 2-14-08)

Hi Cindy!

It's been more than a while since I've last updated you about Rexx. He's now 3 years old and doing amazing! He's truly the best dog ever and we can't imaging not having him. He's healthy, has a great temperament, and so loving. Of course, we've spoiled him to death. He goes to doggy daycamp a few times per week and everyone just adores him. People still always ask us where we got him from. I hope that you are doing well and that you are continuing to provide families with such wonderful additions to their families that you have to ours. Subject: Update on Riley (Princess)

Cindy,

I just wanted to update you on Riley who was originally Princess. I believe she was born on May 2, 2009.

We adopted Riley in July of 2009, so we have had her just over 2 years now, and it really feels like we have always had her. As you may see in her pictures, Riley is now almost completely white with small amounts of dark hair on her ears. She originally had a few spots of brown on her body, but those quickly grew out and stayed white. She is now full grown and healthy at about 11.5 pounds (a perfect size to cuddle).

Some things have not changed with Riley. She is the most sociable, kind, sweet, loving, affectionate, playful, dog anyone could ask for (besides her 2 fuzzy wuzzy sisters of course). Riley is extremely attached to us. She enjoys spending time cuddling and playing with us and will often follow us around the house. She loves to play fetch and chew up a good toy! We always say that she is convinced that she is a big dog in her 11.5 pound body. She loves playing with dogs of all breeds and sizes. We really couldn't have asked for a better dog and I think we tell her that several times a day during one of the many conversations we have with her.

Riley has truly become a part of our family and we love her more than we could have ever imagined. Thank you for the sweet puppy!
